I learn something new every day. I have not heard of a cinema that has showers - we don't have that here in NZ but we do have cinemas with glory holes and play rooms. If you want a place with a shower you have to go to a cruise club (and not all of them have showers!)

to Tobi00815 : Yes, the overall low standard, homemade quality certainly applies to my city (Auckland). It's really only the saunas that make an effort (they have to, otherwise they'll get shut down), but the cinemas are essentially an afterthought to the adult stores, so things can get pretty ugly! Honestly, if I had the money to invest.... Haha!

to Vaka : Yes... I have only seen 4 or 5 other cinemas before, and I couldn´t believe how large and clean it was at first visit.I think that´s only possible because it is in a city that is known for its open culture regarding homosexuality and therelike (Cologne), so there are always enough customers to make it financially viable to invest in nice building quality of the cabins. It even has ('or had.. don´t really know at the moment) a swinger club attached to it, so the whole building is even bigger. Go to a smaller city without such a community, and the cinemas are much smaller, cheaper build and mostly not as clean... and most cabins you can see at a glance that everything is homemade in the simplest possible way.
On the other side.. it´s really a hard business I think, there are lots of special taxes for such locations.. so I can understand the standard cinema is no luxury location
